Wetumpka Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization designed to lift the local economy. We work very closely with government to provide representative’s  voice for our businesses.

Board of Directors, Wetumpka Chamber of Commerce

All Chamber activities, policies, and programs are governed by a Board of Directors.  Five directors are customarily elected each year for three year terms.

Executive Director:  The business management, marketing, membership and event-planning of the Chamber is the responsibility of the Executive Director, who must operate within the framework of budgets, programs, and policies developed by the Board of Directors.  She shall have charge of the office and supervision of all employees and volunteers.

Staff:  Reports directly to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. Each member of the staff is responsible for completion of the program of work, implementing programs beneficial to the membership, maintaining a high level of efficiency and effectiveness while adhering to and abiding by the Chamber’s by-laws.

Financing the Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce

The largest source of revenue for general operating expenses of the Chamber is the membership who pay dues of varying amounts depending on the schedule.  Programs, budgets, salaries, and promotions are dependent upon them. For this reason, the Chamber is constantly striving to increase value-added member benefits to our membership.

Our promise to you guarantees a return on your membership investment. If you don’t see value in your investment, we encourage you to reach out to us and become more involved. We feel strongly about our mission to serve as a progressive advocate for business needs to promote this area’s economic well-being.
